If this service is stopped, DDE transport and security will be unavailable. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start. BlackViper.com adds this: I have not found a good use for this service. Unless you use remote ClipBook, disable it. This uses about 1.5 MB idle.
