Provides network transport and security for Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) for programs running on the same computer or on different computers. If this service is stopped, DDE transport and security will be unavailable. BlackViper.com adds: I have not found a good use for this service. After the installation of Service Pack 2, this service is set from Manual to Disabled by default. Unless you use remote ClipBook, disable it. This uses about 1.5 MB idle.
